Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
Twenty Transportation, Inc. (“Twenty Transportation,” “we,” “us”) is a container drayage trucking company serving the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers our website at twentytrans.com, our driver dispatch text messaging program, and our day-to-day work with drivers, customers and business partners.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: name, phone number (including mobile number), email address, company name and business address.
- Driver information: information drivers give us so they can haul for us, such as contact details, driver’s license and other qualification documents required by law, and truck and equipment details.
- Shipment and work records: load assignments, container and chassis numbers, terminal appointments, pickup and delivery times and locations, and delivery records.
- Messages: text messages and other messages exchanged with our dispatch office, and their delivery status.
- Website information: our website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, our web server keeps basic access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and date and time) for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
- To dispatch drivers and coordinate container pickups, deliveries and empty returns.
- To send dispatch text messages to drivers who have opted in, and to answer their replies.
- To provide, bill for and keep records of our transportation services.
- To meet legal, safety, insurance and regulatory requirements, including port and terminal requirements.
- To respond to questions and requests.
- To protect our drivers, our customers and our business against fraud, misuse and security threats.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as our text messaging and phone providers, email and cloud hosting providers, and accounting and insurance providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Parties involved in a shipment, such as customers, marine terminals, warehouses and shipping lines, to the extent needed to move a container (for example, a driver’s name and truck number for a terminal appointment).
- Authorities and others when required by law or legal process, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our drivers, our customers, the public or Twenty Transportation.
- A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Text messaging (SMS)
We send text messages only to drivers who have given written consent, as described on our Driver SMS Consent page. Consent is optional and is not a condition of employment or of working with Twenty Transportation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
We use a driver’s mobile number only to send and receive our own dispatch messages. Mobile numbers are processed by our messaging service provider and wireless carriers only to deliver those messages.
5. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, tax, insurance and recordkeeping requirements. We keep records of SMS consent and opt-out requests for at least four years after a driver stops receiving our text messages.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to (626) 816-3334 at any time to stop dispatch texts, and START to opt back in.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us as shown below. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information that the law requires us to keep.
- California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, such as the right to know, correct and delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, contact us as shown below.
8. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adult drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
